Tools for Community Regeneration

The Tools for Community Regeneration (TCR) system was initially developed under the umbrella of Hastings Trust, a registered charity. The objective of the project is to create active partnerships within the community, public, private and voluntary sectors to encourage working together to create and sustain economic, environmental, social and cultural regeneration.

Since December 2000, TCR is an independent legally constituted Association.

The TCR system was partially funded by grants from the Housing Corporation, the Esmee Fairbairn Charitable Trust, the Single Regeneration Budget, the Hastings Community Fund and the World Bank.

The project team members are professionally qualified, sharing years of experience in research, information systems, community regeneration, business planning, marketing, training ICT and IT development.

The long-term aim is to continue to develop the capability of the product so that new editions will be published and available from the Internet and a subscription service.

As a not-for-profit organisation, much of our work is done by volunteers. We seek funding on an on-going basis to support various aspects of our work.
