| Ore Valley Action Planning Weekend | |
| The
Ore Valley Action Planning Weekend was held from the 12th to the 15th of
September 1997. The purpose was to bring all sections of the
local community together in order to create a vision for the future of
the neighbourhood.
Organised by a working group of local residents, councilors, businesses, voluntary groups and the local police, workshops on key topics and issues were supported by local and visiting experts. An outline plan was prepared for use in the development plan funded from the Single Regeneration Budget.
