Hastings Trust is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Set up in 1991 as an enterprise with social objectives it is actively engaged in the regeneration of Hastings and St. Leonard's and its environs. Hastings Trust Resource Centre provides information and support services. Trust Contracts Ltd. is its trading arm.  The Trust's principal assets are 35 Robertson Street where it is based, No. 34 which has been acquired for renovation and renting and Silchester Mews - for project accommodation and renting.
